Double Chocolate Cake

Our take on the classic fudge chocolate cake - a delicious sponge layered with a light chocolate meringue buttercream. Three layers of sponge filled with two layers of chocolate icing.

A crowd pleaser, suitable for any celebration; birthdays, weddings and parties. 

Each cake is uniquely decorated, our bakers will decorate with seasonal fruit and flowers in the style pictured here. 'Small' size pictured

Ingredients: chocolate cake 

(sugar, 

buttermilk 

(skimmed cows' milk, skimmed cows' milk powder, starter culture), coffee, 

wheat flour (cereals containing gluten), cocoa, sunflower oil, eggs, bicarbonate of soda, baking powder, vanilla (contains alcohol), sea salt) dark chocolate buttercream 

(butter 

(milk), sugar, 

dark chocolate (cacao beans, cane sugar, cocoa butter, sunflower lecithin, soya, vanilla beans), egg white, cocoa, sea salt. Allergens highlighted in bold.

This is only suitable for collection or London delivery.

Collection is free from Hackney, E8 4TS. Available Tue - Fri 9am - 5pm and Sat & Sun 10am - 4pm. Mondays on request.

We recommend having your cake collected or delivered on the day you will be eating it.

Decorations, especially fruits and edible flowers look best on the day.

If you are not having it on the day, please ask to have decorations packed separately or we can decorate with dried fruits & flowers instead. 

Cakes should be stored in the fridge and brought to room temperature before eating (1-2 hours)

Store cake in the box provided. Once sliced, cover up any exposed cake with cling wrap or similar. Any leftover cake can be wrapped or boxed, and frozen for up to one month.
