Easter Sweets
This year, we see the return of many familiar EK BAKERY favourites, beloved by all kids, big and small. While our whole menu is available for the holiday, we do have some offerings to brighten up your gatherings.
First, Easter would be incomplete without a nod to chocolate eggs, right? Luckily, we’ve included chocolate eggs - both of creme and mini egg varieties - in our classic, fudgy brownies. They are colourful, indulgent, and quite delicious, and easy to slip into an Easter basket. Plus, if your loved one is gluten-free, we have them covered, too.
We are offering an additional chocolate egg treat this year for those looking for a small bite with just enough sweetness. Our Easter nests are crunchy, nutty, and fun… a bowl of these left out on the Easter spread won’t last long!
We are continuing to offer our many varieties of postal cakes, which we adore alongside a cup of tea. They are perfect to enjoy while spending quality time with someone close to you. The postal cake options include our warm and richly spiced Simnel cake - on our menu only through Easter - our citrus-packed Lemon Drizzle cake, and our delectable Blood Orange cake.
All cakes are sent whole, but we are offering letterbox friendly slices of the Simnel cake if you're looking for a smaller portion. See below for further information on each.
Lastly, we’re bringing back our Hot Cross Biscuits, a true fan favourite. They are our spin on the traditional Hot Cross bun you see at most bakeries this time of year. A crisp, lightly spiced biscuit with a hint of orange and plenty of black currants. The extra dusting of sugar at the end is an added bonus. Our kitchen can’t get enough of these! Available in a box of 12 or 24 and gift wrapped if you wish.
